Is Kobe wanting to leave the Lakers because the lakers don't
have talent? --LeBron has less talent but is the Eastern
Finals -- Or because He wanted Shaq out to be the Man and
now knows, he is not a Man! Does he now realize he can't carry a team like Shaq? Does he realize he needs to leave the Lakers because he is just another Penny Hardaway?
Those of you who are dating Kobe don't need to answer,
we know you love him with all his faults. Just want some
realistic people to answer this.
Kobe Leaving Lakers, reason: Lakers are bad, or Kobe is a ballhog?nba ballers
The wierd thing here is that even tho Kobe's skills are more honed at this point than Lebron's, and I would argue that the Lakers actually have more talent (Lamar Odom is capable on some nights of playing like an All-star, Walton is an intelligent solid player, Phil Jackson is a Hall of Fame coach), the Lakers are not as solid of a team as the Cavs. I think this points towards the fact that Kobe is not a leader. He is trying, and is admittedly better at it than 2 years ago, but still is not a very good leader. The Cavs are more cohesive because Lebron inspires his teammates to work together, whereas Kobe's teammates can sense that he doesn't truly trust them when the pressure hits, so the Lakers fall apart when it matters. If you read Phil's book, he talks about how Kobe would never hang out with the group, he goes off by himself and is antisocial. Shaq's book says the same thing. Not wanting to be around your teammates isn't the quality of a leader.
The main problem is that Kobe perceives that the team's failures to come together are because other guys can't step it up. However, the real problem is that Kobe can't inspire people to be better for the sake of the team. If you pass to a guy and he misses the shot, you gotta make him feel "don't worry, we're gonna win this game, I know you'll hit the shot next time". But when you play with Kobe, he makes you feel more like "why did you miss that shot I set up for you? you obviously aren't as good as me, so I'm gonna have to do all the work around here since you can't do your job right." This is why Kobe will be in the same situation for the rest of his career, regardless of whether he stays on the Lakers or moves to another team. Being the best player, he will always be expected to be the leader, which he can't do. He will never win another championship.
Kobe Leaving Lakers, reason: Lakers are bad, or Kobe is a ballhog?nba draft lottery ,nba teams
Kobe = ballhog..... that is why ...
I dont think he would be questioning himself, he has too much ego and strikes me as the sort of person who would not take responsibility but instead blam his team mates.
I think he thinks he can genuinely win, but doesnt realise his own shortcomings (like not beingg a good team mate / bringing the best out in people)....
are you serious? kobe is leaving the lakers? if he is then who will take him? i'm sure no team would want to disrupt their chemistry, kobe is the type of player who disrupts team harmony...just look at what he id to the lakers and shaq.
he took shaq out of the picture to be the man but as it turns out, he's not even half the man shaq is, shaq won a ring without kobe and what did kobe get? 81 points??? hardly any consolation huh?
the long and short of it is that kobe, being an undeniably great talent, should learn to respect his temamates and concentrate on being a better team player.
he can take over anytime he chooses to do so but i think it should be on a selective basis, let the game flow freely and take over when the need arises.
I think the last thing Kobe would do is leave the Lakers. That would be admitting far too much - that he alone can't carry HIS team to a championship, that he needs another big name (like Shaq) to have a chance for another ring. After Jackson and Shaq left, Kobe became the only face of the Lakers. For him to leave now wouldn't be like Kevin Garnett leaving for a different team, a move that many believe KG deserves because he's shown more loyalty to his club than they've shown to him. Kobe is staying put, but expect a different supporting cast next season. Can't quite call him a Penny Hardaway either. Seems like Penny's stats plummeted after Shaq left. Kobe's have probably gone up, but it hasn't made him more successful.
are you ok kobe is a great player oh and the lakers are a great team just that they need better team chemistry. ANd i ain't dating Kobe. Why don't you go back with lebron? last thing shak sucks.
well Kobe isn't leaving lakers because he told us on his web site that he wants to stay in l.a. Sometimes even i, a Kobe lover, admits he is a real ball hog, but his team plays bad more times than Kobe is a ball hog
